Uploaded Fonts (Business Feature)

Upload your font files to your Wordmark account and access them from any browser or device. Perfect for people who need their font collection available everywhere, especially on tablets and devices that don't support local fonts.

This feature is available in the Business subscription plan.

What are uploaded fonts?

Uploaded fonts are font files that you store in your Wordmark account, making them accessible from any browser or device without needing to install them on your device. This feature is particularly useful for working across multiple devices or when using tablets and mobile devices.

Uploading fonts to your account is also a necessary step for adding them to storefronts and sharing preview pages with your clients.

With uploaded fonts, you can:

• Access your fonts from any browser on any device
• Work on tablets and devices that don't support local font access
• Keep your font collection synchronized across all your devices
• Use uploaded fonts in your storefronts
• Preview text and work with fonts that aren't installed on your current device

Uploading fonts from Wordmark

1. Enter a text to preview with your fonts
2. Select the fonts you want to upload
3. Click Filter selected fonts
4. Click Upload on the top
5. Wait for the upload process to complete
6. Your fonts will now be available in the Uploaded section

Uploading font files from your computer

Method 1: Drag and drop

1. Navigate to the Uploaded section
2. Drag font files (TTF or OTF) from your computer onto the page
3. The files will be automatically processed and uploaded

Method 2: File browser

1. Navigate to the Uploaded section
2. Click Choose from your computer
3. Select a folder with font files from your computer
4. Click the Upload button
5. Wait for the upload process to complete
6. Your fonts will now be available in the Uploaded section

File requirements and limitations

• Supported formats: TTF (TrueType) and OTF (OpenType) font files
• File size limit: Maximum 5MB per font file
• Privacy: Uploaded fonts are private and only accessible from your account
• Storage: Fonts remain in your account until you delete them

Using uploaded fonts

Once fonts are uploaded, they work just like your local fonts. They will be available throughout Wordmark and identified with a small cloud icon.

Navigating to the Uploaded section will filter you all your uploaded fonts.

Managing your uploaded fonts

You can manage your uploaded fonts from your profile menu:

1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner
2. Select the option to manage uploaded fonts
3. View all your uploaded fonts
4. Delete fonts you no longer need

Fonts that are used in storefronts must be removed from them before they can be deleted.
